Bentley Rice
I am originally from Digby Nova Scotia, I have over 27 years experience in various facets of the fire service.
I am currently employed with the Office of the Fire Marshal and work as an adjunct Instructor at the Nova Scotia Firefighters School, where I instruct various fire service programs.
I have been fortunate to be able to achieve international certification as a fire investigator, fire service instructor, level 2 firefighter, hazardous material operations to name a few. I have completed diplomas in Fire Service Leadership, Fire Service Administration, and Incident Command from Dalhousie University.
I am truly humbled to be part of this extraordinary organization. The diverse group of men and women inspire me and challenge me to provide the best service possible. You will not find a finer group people anywhere. Truro is truly the hub of Nova Scotia with exceptional parks and recreational facilities where you may find me these days recreating on my time off.
