I was born and raised in the Truro area. I am a father of three boys Alex, Darius and Riley

As a wildland Firefighter for Nova scotia department of Lands and Forestry and a volunteer I have obtained many professional skills. Some are my level 1 and my level 2 instructor, Ice water rescue and wildland fire behavior certifications and training

I wanted to do something for my community that would help many if not all. This was the best way I could spare time I like rough camping and hiking/ trail blazing in the woods.

Over my many years with the service I have been many people come and go. We have a great group of firefighters in Truro that truly want to do the best and provide the best customer service they can.

My advice to newbies- There are good days and bad. Never forget your why!  Any position you find yourself in, be assured that it is just as important as the firefighter at the nozzle. Best one put the wet stuff on the red stuff.
